Be Strong

Om Sai Ram

On the holy occasion of Easwaramma Day our Beloved Divine Mother Sai was granting a Devotee´s special letter to share with all. Swami Himself knows everything in this letter too.

Jay Sai Ma

I returned from Kodaikanal a few hours back and had a memorable Darshan of Bhagawan. I just had one Darshan as Bhagawan admonished me in no uncertain terms on the evening of the 3rd May 2005 when I sat for Darshan. As there were relatively few people Bhagawan came up to where I was sitting and took letters from many people, He suddenly turned towards me and asked in telugu "Your Mother is all right?", I said "Swami your Grace", Swami then said "You worry too much, She will be all right". I almost broke down when Bhagawan said that, Bhagawan then called for a Student to get some Vibuthi Packets and gave it to me, then created some Vibuthi and rubbed it on my neck and said "Be Strong. Swami is always with you, why do you leave your Mother and come to see me, Take care of your Mother. Go return Immediately and look after her. Give the Prasadam to her".

When Bhagawan was about to turn away, I suddenly remembered the Letters that my Sai Friends have given me and said "Swami", Bhagawan in all his grace turned and took the Letters from my hand, and said in Telugu "Swami Ki Ei Letters Lo unnavi Anni Telusu", meaning "Swami knows everything in these letters".

Sairam ,

Last Weekend , i got an opportunity to be blessed by Swamy's Darshan in Kodai . I am there from Saturday till Monday . All these 3 days i cannot forget in my life time .The Darshan was so close after a long time . This time since "SAI-SRUTHI" (Kodai Sai center) was extended , it accommodates huge devotees unlike the previous visits . It was also nicely decorated and was modified in such a way Swamy's car can go up to the verandah .

The Darshan will surely satisfy every heart because there is only 6 or 7 rows and also the car is moving very slowly. He collect letters from almost all devotees . Each and every Darshan prolongs for at least 45 minutes .Morning is for Darshan which usually starts after 8.15 AM & evening is for Bhajan which starts after 4PM .

There is a news that Swamy might leave Kodai by Tomorrow - 4th may .All the students inside are ready with all their baggages . Swamy might go to Whitefield it seems .But Sai Sruthi was also ready to celebrate Eashwaramma Day - which falls on may 6th . They are waiting for Swamy's approval .

Jai Sai Ram

At the foothills of Kodaikanal (19-04-05)

We have this description from a former student of Bhagawan, who is presently the Youth Coordinator of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Tamil Nadu. Read on for details …

Swami travelled by car from Madurai airport to Kodaikanal and had a break in between at Gunguvarpatti, near Kodai foothills town, Vanthalagundu.

A group of Seva Dal had already refurbished the Highways Travellers' guest house at Gunguvarpatti. Swami arrived at about 3.30 pm at the spot. The Dindugal collector along with State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Tamil Nadu welcomed Bhagawan. Though they were ready with a sofa-wheelchair for Swami, He shunned it away and proceeded to walk His way. He was waiting for the students and guest accompanying Him to arrive. Once they arrived, Swami had His tiffin (snacks). This is a testimony of the love and care Bhagawan has for His children. The students and guests were served with sumptuous tiffin.

Once, Bhagawan got down from the car, He noticed us, the old students. Immediately, there was a smile of recognition. Once on His feet, He enquired about us, with the same old charm.

Oh, after nearly ten years, we are hearing His voice, directly speaking to us. My mind is slowly drifting to those days when He used to walk amongst us creating His own path, His robe brushing our faces, the divine scent wafting in the air, suddenly speaking to a boy till then not spoken to, cracking some jokes, simplifying philosophies into sweet one-liners, sometimes just standing in total silence for a length of time with us in rapt attention for the next divine word...

Then Bhagawan materialised a ring for the District Collector. At about 4.35 pm, He left the spot, followed by two buses of students and guests. Swami reached Kodaikanal at about 6.15 pm.

In the evening, after Swami had left, being alone, the experience of being with the Avatar was sinking in. We may have Him in our hearts; it is good but not extraordinary. But if He has a small space, maybe even the smallest for us in His heart; it is something that will bestow unspeakable happiness. And, when He decides to bless us with the physical demonstration of the existence of that room for us in His heart, can words explain the experience?
